Impact

Delivered a MVP mobile app in 4 months across IOS devices. Increased sales for Marine Onboard Computer by 38% in the market.

Customers lack visibility into system health, performance, and ownership information, with no centralized portal to manage this data.

Updates are manual and outdated, despite available connectivity. Many planned smart features depend on a mobile app, which is currently missing. Internally, we require a scalable digital platform to manage user accounts, updates, maintenance, and long-term customer engagement as sales grow.

No remote access

Users currently have no way of checking vessel status when offboard, leading to range anxiety, system surprises, and wasted trips.

Poor visibility into maintenance

There’s no centralized tool for managing service history, diagnostics, or preventative care—leading to downtime and reactive support.

Lack of spatial awareness:

Without real-time mapping, electric and hybrid boaters struggle to plan routes, locate charging docks, or gauge safe return zones.

ACEL Mobile will provide three core solutions: account management, system status visibility, and phone-as-a-key.

Users can register, pair their vessel, view real-time data, and operate their boat without a physical key. Internally, the app reduces maintenance costs, simplifies upgrades, and establishes a secure framework for user consent and long-term customer relationships.
